چکیده
Standardization is the process of determining properties based on certain parameters to achieve same degree quality. The extract was standardized with two parameters, namely specific and non-specific parameters. So that efficacy quality this soka flower can be guaranteed, it necessary meet a standard for product/extract material by standardizing extract. carried out so uniform raw materials obtained which finally guarantee pharmacological effects these plants. guaranteeing final product (simplicia, or herbal product) have parameter values that are constant predetermined. research method testing various extract, starting species flower, then calculating yield, organoleptic testing, water content, soluble compounds, ethanol compounds. average content test result 9.54% still within permissible standard, in medicinal preparations including extracts should not exceed 10% limit. Based results determination 20.7% 35.5%. higher than thus semi-polar compounds were polar

Antimicrobial Properties of Ixora Coccinea L. (rubiaceae)
Antimicrobial activity was detected in the 50% ethanolic extract of Ixora coccinea. The effective inhibitory concentration of the extract against both the bacterial test organisms and the fungal test organisms studied was 125 ug mL(-1), beyond which the inhibitory activity declined and the organisms started reviving from the effect of the antimicrobial principle.

متن کاملEffects of the flower extract of Ixora coccinea Linn. On the meristematic cells of Allium Cepa
The aqueous extract of flowers of I. coccinea was evaluated for its cytotoxic and mutagenic effects on the meristematic cells of onion root tip. The percentage of abnormalities was found to increase with the increase in the concentration of the extract from 20 to 60 mg/ml. With 80 mg/ml completed arrest or total inhibition of cell division was observed. The major abnormalities were unprinted ch...

The use of anthocyanin dyes extracted from epidermal leaves of Tradescantia spathacea (Trant) and petals of Ixora coccinea (IX) was evaluated in the application of dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs). Subsequently, cocktail anthocyanin dyes from these dyes were prepared and how they enhanced the cell's overall performance was assessed using five different volume-to-volume ratios. Cocktail dyes a...
